At Together OT our occupational therapists engage in a wide range of activities, both face-to-face and non-face-to-face, to provide comprehensive care to children with various needs. In paediatric occupational therapy, non-face-to-face activities are essential for planning, coordination, and ongoing assessment. They enable the therapist to provide holistic care and support the child's progress toward achieving their goals.

While direct interaction with children is a significant part of their role, the importance of non-face-to-face activities should not be underestimated. They allow OTs to plan, document, communicate, collaborate, and support children and their families effectively. By dedicating time to these activities, OTs can ensure that each child receives the best possible care and support for their unique needs.

At Together OT, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. While we provide exceptional paediatric occupational therapy services, what truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to non-billable work that goes beyond the therapy sessions. We believe in making a real difference in the lives of the children we serve, and we want to share our passion with you.

Our therapists strive to ensure our services provided to your child are holistic, client centred, evidence based and the most suitable to achieve your child’s goals. This means that throughout your journey with us, we will provide billable and non-billable activities, ensuring maximum benefit for you and your child.

The direct vs indirect time iceberg shows what you might expect from your occupational therapist. It is important to consider all aspects of therapy provided by your occupational therapist in order to understand how they may utilise your child’s funding to achieve their goals.
